20′ x 8′ Steel Container (High Top)
Increasingly popular, these 20 foot steel containers can be referred to as ‘high cube containers’ and provide an often invaluable extra foot of storage space.
A slight adaptation on our standard 20 foot by 8 foot units, these high top containers offer more headroom, more volume and more flexibility. Standard containers are 8.6ft high whereas these high cube models stand at 9.6ft high, increasing internal space by approximately 250 square feet.
You will often see these shipping containers converted into offices and workshops due to the added benefit of additional height to use for false ceilings etc. The additional height is also useful when it comes to storage, which is why they are also popular as a storage solution on construction sites and in particular groundworks as they are able to accommodate larger plant such as diggers!
